The Grange is hidden away in the heart of a small Somerset village close to Wincanton. This beautiful former Georgian rectory is the ideal place to get away from it all. If you’re looking for a family getaway or to host a special celebration this place is tucked away and secluded.
The house is surrounded by 17 acres of beautiful well-kept gardens and grounds. There is literally something for everyone to enjoy. If you enjoy tennis, you can enjoy a game on the hard tennis court. Or just sit back and relax by the pool and take a dip in the hot tub. The house even has bicycles for you to use if you want to explore the surrounding countryside further.
Perfect for all the family
The house features a large farmhouse kitchen with an Aga to enjoy a family get-together. The house is fully self-catered. With its flag stoned main hall, 4 elegant reception rooms and 8 bedrooms this house will give you the chance to experience true country living. The bedrooms can accommodate up to 18 people. Next to the house is the Dovecote that provides an additional two bedrooms that can sleep up to 4 further people. The Dovecote is self-contained and has its own kitchen, bathroom and family room. All of the bedrooms have a light and airy feel, and some have windows looking out onto the grounds we can take in the breathtaking views.
Outside in the elegant gardens, there is an open-air swimming pool where you can take a dip and have some fun. Nearby is a hot tub and private sauna where you can sit back and relax. The main house includes a snooker room with a three-quarter size table and its very own games room. You won’t be bored during your stay here. The games room includes a dart board for a round of darts and table tennis. Or if you’re looking to have fun outdoors there is a hard tennis court available, a small football pitch and a croquet lawn. There is literally something for everyone to enjoy during their stay.
