This beautiful Georgian style property is situated on the edge of the famous Yorkshire Dales and close to the popular market town of Skipton. Guests staying at the hall can enjoy easy access to cities and nearby attractions without losing the peace and tranquillity of a private estate. Breathtaking scenery dominates the landscape, which is home to both farms and wildlife, which the Yorkshire Dales are famous for.

Skipton Hall dates all the way back to 1597 and has been a part of the Tempest Baronet family for 900 years. The entire area is steeped in history dating all the way back to William the Conqueror. The hall is the perfect place if you’re looking for a family retreat or a corporate retreat for your team. It’s fascinating heritage and mixes with modern luxury and is the ideal place for hosting family get-togethers, corporate events or retreats.

With 15 bedrooms and an array of fourposter beds, you will feel as if you’re staying in the heart of luxury, yet you are surrounded by modern convenience. The array of rooms include a super king-size, 8 king-size rooms, 4 double rooms, a twin room and 2 single bedrooms. The Hall can sleep up to 32 guests. There are also three beautiful cottages on the estate if you need the extra space. 

Something for everyone

There is something for everyone to enjoy on the estate which includes its own basement wine cellar. If you’re up for a game of tennis there is a private tennis court and a games room with a full-size snooker table. Or if you’re looking to sit back and relax, why not check out the library or sit back and enjoy afternoon tea in the beautiful red drawing room. This estate, with its striking like architecture and breathtaking scenery, is a perfect place to get away from it all. It’s available on a fully catered basis and also a great venue for location filming.
