Situated close to Pilgrims Manor, Pilgrims Coach House has been refurbished to its former glory. It’s a warm, welcoming place full of old-fashioned charm and character. The house is the perfect place for a family to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a break in the country. It can sleep up to eight guests and can be hired in along with the nearby manor house or by itself.
This beautiful building is bright and welcoming and will feel like your home away from home. The house features a gabled roof, a beautiful double height central atrium and doors that lead into a Victorian walled garden. It also had a wood burner in the lounge, perfect for snuggling up with during the long cold winter months. There are four double bedrooms, that can be used as double or twin rooms. Two of the rooms are ensuite and the third has a shared bathroom.
Perfect for all the family
Pilgrims Coach House features a family room with log burner, a flatscreen television and a DVD player. Great for sitting back and enjoying a movie with all the family. The family room features wooden floors room and is the perfect place to sit and relax. There are two kitchens and four beautiful really decorated bedrooms for you to stay in.
It’s the ideal place to take in and enjoy the surrounding North Welsh countryside. If you enjoy taking long walks, this is the perfect place for you. The estate itself features over a hundred acres of private grounds and gardens.
All of the bedrooms are each furnished in Italian Frette linens and feature duck feather and down pillows and duvets. All the rooms have views looking out onto either the walled garden or the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
Pilgrims Coach House is ideally situated close to Snowdonia National Park, which is famous for its rugged beauty and lovely scenery. And within easy reach of Chester and lots of other places to visit during your stay.

Exclusive Use: If the entire estate is not taken on an exclusive use basis the Manor and Coach House may be rented separately and the Walled Garden will be used by the Coach House. Please also see notes on weddings below.

Catering & Corkage: The house does not charge corkage. You are free to self-cater or choose your own catering company for a wedding, the house has a list of local suppliers
Damage Deposit: £500
Terms: 30% non-refundable booking deposit and the remainder two months before arrival
Payment method: Payment is usually bank transfer or a UK cheque if paid well in advance of arrival so funds can clear. This property cannot accept card payments.
Midweek Bookings: Some discounts may apply, please ask
One night stays: Only allowed between Monday and Thursday. Minimum weekend stay is 2 nights, Bank Holidays 3 nights.
Pets: Pes are allowed upon request before booking
Weddings & Events: You will need to hire a marquee in addition to the Coach House for large groups. Marquee site in the Walled Garden is included in your hire - this can accommodate a marquee to hold up to around 250 guests. Ask us for costs of hire for a marquee, or use your own supplier. The Manor is only included in weddings at extra cost and with security – only Manor house guests are allowed in the Manor to preserve the historical features and antiques.
Stags / Hens: Not accepted at this house
Larger groups: The Coach House has a large Atrium Space that can seat around 38 for dining
Extra chairs/tables and place settings etc, for larger events will be required for dining at additional cost
