If you looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, the Somerset Country Estate is surrounded by the rural Somerset. The estate dates back to the Middle Ages and boasts old-fashioned architecture yet is filled with modern convenience and comfort. With seven acres of quaint grounds, it’s the perfect place to experience true country living.
If you’re looking for a place to host your family get together, an important birthday party or family holiday this is the place for you. Or if you just want to getaway from it all and enjoy the peace of the countryside, this is the place to go. The estate is private so there’s no one around to disturb you.
Perfect for all the family
With twelve luxurious bedrooms and nine bathrooms/shower rooms, the house can comfortably sleep up to twenty-four guests. Some of the rooms even include their very own fourposter beds. There is even a private sauna for everyone to enjoy. With two sitting rooms, and a mediaeval oak-panelled dining hall it’s the ideal place to get together with all the family. There’s also a large kitchen with its very own Aga and modern appliances. The house is available on a self-catered basis and also fully catered if required.
Get away from it all
Enjoy a game of ball on the private tennis court. Perfect for if you want to take a dip in the pool or just sit back and enjoy the sun. There’s even a pool table and a croquet lawn. Or take a walk around the beautiful gardens and take a hike around the surrounding woodlands.
If the manor house isn’t for you there are two beautiful barns to choose from. The lakeside barn overlooking the lake of perfect for sitting back, relaxing and taking in the Somerset countryside. This beautiful thatched, spacious barn sits right on its own private lake where you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity the countryside has to offer. The second barn is the Long Barn with its beautiful high vaulted ceilings and surrounded by three acres of land.
